80s Dark Fantasy
An AI series that recasts pop-culture icons as 80s dark fantasy films, made in the weeks the trend began.
In January-March 2023, when generative AI was still a curiosity, I recast Game of Thrones, Dark Souls, Cyberpunk 2077, Breaking Bad and all 151 Pokémon as 80s dark fantasy films. The images came from Midjourney; the edit, the rhythm and the sound are mine. Today the same approach runs inside my agency work with ComfyUI and video models: AI is a production line for me, not a substitute for the idea.
